Further ideas for Spearfish related GIS tasks in GRASS/QGIS

Overlay and compare the spatial precision of the road map and a LANDSAT satellite image (get from: LANDSAT-7 scene reprojected for Spearfish location). Why don't they match and which map is more precise?
Take the included DEM 'elevation.10m' and generate new maps from that such as aspect, slope (in degree), curvatures, watersheds, streams (vectorize them and compare to the existing streams map), topographic index, flow lines, direct/diffuse/reflected radiation for a certain day etc.
Visualize with nviz the elevation model with a RGB LANDSAT color composite draped above
